Henriette Ceyrac is the founder of Pan Ka Lay, a social enterprise dedicated to improving menstrual health in Myanmar.
She is French and holds a Master’s in Management from ESCP Europe Business School. After working for six years at Unilever’s headquarters in London, mainly leading social impact innovation projects, she moved to Myanmar in 2016 with the intention to apply her business credentials to development challenges. Since then she has been helping iNGOs Living Goods and PSI Myanmar manage a network of community health agents.
She realized that the vast majority of Myanmar’s 15 million women of reproductive age lack basic knowledge to manage their menstruation, and that they are harmed by the socio-cultural norms around menstruation.
She founded social enterprise Pan Ka Lay in 2018, with the aim to equip girls and women with education, products and positive values around menstruation.
