Founder, Pan ka lay
Henriette Ceyrac is the founder of Pan Ka Lay, a social enterprise dedicated to improving menstrual health in Myanmar.
She is French and holds a Master’s in Management from ESCP Europe Business School. After working for six years at Unilever’s headquarters in London, mainly leading social impact innovation projects, she moved to Myanmar in 2016 with the intention to apply her business credentials to development challenges. Since then she has been helping iNGOs Living Goods and PSI Myanmar manage a network of community health agents.
She realized that the vast majority of Myanmar’s 15 million women of reproductive age lack basic knowledge to manage their menstruation, and that they are harmed by the socio-cultural norms around menstruation.
She founded social enterprise Pan Ka Lay in 2018, with the aim to equip girls and women with education, products and positive values around menstruation.
Myat Moe Hsint
Myat Moe Hsint is responsible for Pan Ka Lay’s corporate and consumer-facing communications. Myat Moe in an experienced content writer, translator and language tutor.
She manages our So What !? campaign’s online community, writes our blog and social media posts, supports our press and key opinion leaders relations and acts as a translator when needed.
Dr. Hnin Su Su Khin
Dr Hnin Su Su Khin is a Myanmar public health expert. A medical doctor by training, she has occupied various functions within health iNGOs PSI & Medecins Sans Frontieres for more than ten years, more recently heading the Community Health Services team of PSI Myanmar. Her responsibilities have included overseeing public health programme design, leading institutional and private donor relationships, research, project monitoring.
She is Pan Ka Lay’s technical advisor on programme design and business development.
Wint Thu Thu Aung
Senior Project Manager
Wint Thu Thu Aung is our Senior Project Manager, leading our comic book project.
She brings more than 13 years of experience in Water Sanitation & Hygiene sector, managing large humanitarian and development projects with a focus on behaviour change communication, community mobilization and capacity building.
Hsu Mon Htun (Leo)
Hsu Mon Htun (Leo) is our Outreach Manager. A pharmacist by training, she just completed her MBA.
She worked for 10 years in the Caribbean, first in the pharmaceutical industry, then in a government hospital. Leo decided to come home to make a difference to her country and joins us after interning at the UN.
